Are you a woman in Dumfries and Galloway keen to return to work after a career break? Making Work Work and Dumfries & Galloway Council are bringing our award-winning programme to you!

 

Offering a combination of live and recorded online training, we will shortly be launching our new programme covering:

· professional skills refresher / professional development and reflective practice

· stakeholder and client relationships

· flexible, remote and hybrid working

· designing your ideal (work)life blend

· identifying transferable skills and navigating a “squiggly” career

· CVs, applications and interviews

Our new programme supports women in Dumfries and Galloway looking to step back into the workplace or progress in work following a career break, and who face difficulties in finding work that fits with all the commitments and fun of life.

 

Participation is free of charge for eligible women.  

 

From January – March 2025, participants will: 

Build confidence to help you move into or progress in work

Strengthen your networks with likeminded women

Learn about part-time & flexible working opportunities

Develop and refresh your professional skills & your ability to identify positive working cultures

Update your CV
